# Explosives

Explosives are items found randomly during excavation (not available in mini-games) that explode with a variable range and force according to the table below. These items can be found inside the mine as well as purchased from the in-game marketplace. The radius determines how many adjacent blocks the explosion hits (based on the block selected by the player) and the force is the multiplier of the blow in relation to the durability of adjacent blocks.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Radius**: To use an explosive, the miner must select the explosive and then hit a block, the radius is calculated from the impacted block (the selected block counts as the first space of the radius). To do this, the block must be within the miner's attack range.

**Strength**: when using an explosive with strength 2, for example, any block with durability 2 or less within the radius will be destroyed, and blocks with durability greater than 2 will have their health reduced by the force of the impact.
{% endhint %}

| Name             | Image | Strength | Radius |
| ---------------- | ----- | -------- | ------ |
| Dynamite         |       | 1        | 3      |
| Dynamite's Crate |       | 2        | 4      |
| TNT              |       | 3        | 6      |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.mining-squad.app/en/readme/recursos/tools/explosives.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
