# Rarity

{% hint style="info" %}
Dummy miners are not NFT tokens, so they have no value and cannot participate in games with real rewards.
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="/files/lqs5eBZO0dxXeeJrYRHu" alt="" width="375"><figcaption><p>Rarity demo</p></figcaption></figure>

Each miner has a rarity that is randomly defined at the time of its Minting. Each rarity defines the value range of the attributes it will have, which means that not every miner of the same rarity will have the same stat values, but the higher its rarity, the higher the possible values of its attributes. Once generated the miner cannot change the rarity, except by [Evolution](/en/readme/recursos/miners/merge.md) (limited to epic rarity). Even so, each rarity, except unique miners, has three different levels that can be improved by burning the mined tokens and thus improving the values of their attributes ( [Upgrade](/en/readme/recursos/miners/upgrade.md) ). All miners (evolved or minted) are born on the first level. In addition to the character's own base values, everyone, regardless of rarity, can be equipped with [Tools](/en/readme/recursos/tools.md) that improve their base stats during the game. Below you can see a table with information about each rarity and its attributes

{% hint style="warning" %}
**You need to know:** Unique miners cannot be evolved, upgraded or minted in normal chests. Unique miners will only be available in [Presale](/en/readme/extras/pre-vendas.md), at [Unique Auction](/en/readme/extras/unique-auction.md) and through exclusive events. They can also be traded through the marketplace.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.mining-squad.app/en/readme/recursos/miners/raritys.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
